Surfing
Coco surf shops provide transportation by boat to Witch’s Rock, Petrero Grande and Ollie’s Point. These are some of Costa Rica’s finest locations for advanced surfers. For the less experienced or new surfer, Tamarindo is a popular surfing destination. Tamarindo has two beaches: one for beginners and another for the slightly more advanced. Tamarindo is located approximately 1 hour southwest of Playa Ocotal. Lessons and board rentals are available through Tamarindo surf shops.

Snorkeling Tour
