The grounds of Los Almendros de Ocotal are landscaped with a variety of trees, shrubs, plants and flowers native to Guanacaste.  Los Almendros guests enjoy our beautiful and relaxing tropical setting. Three full time gardeners work hard to create a pleasing visual atmosphere that our guests appreciate and won’t soon forget.

Los Almendros de Ocotal has 3 swimming pools. The lounge chairs around the pool areas are great for reading and relaxing. Each villa has a private patio. The patios have beautiful ocean views and are a favorite place for guests to rest and relax.  Patios are close enough to the ocean to hear and enjoy the calming sounds of the ocean surf.  No Guanacaste resort offers better access to the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean.

Los Almendros de Ocotal has a large covered gazebo that guests may reserve for weddings, family reunions and other special occasions. The meeting area has a large charcoal barbecue and seats twenty. The gazebo’s ocean view is absolutely stunning.  Los Almendros offers a very affordable wedding package for couples who elope and want to get married in Costa Rica.

Los Almendros de Ocotal has numerous large trees that attract howler monkeys and other wildlife. Depending on the season, expect to see colorful hummingbirds, butterflies and many different species of beautiful birds that live in the tropical forest below Los Almendros.

Some tours, like turtle watchng, tubing and white water rafting are seasonal.
